[hb] was having some severe problems with noise in the power line communication of his X10 house automation system. He decided to switch to an all RF module system getting rid of the requirement for power line communication. While trying to enhance his reliability he developed a data logger. It is built out of a LEGO RCX as well as an X10 universal module. when the RCX is set to listen it records every time that the module activates. A script is utilized to tell the universal module to trip at routine intervals. missing time steps in the RCX’s log associate to missed commands.
